About GCMS4U and what we are doing for you

If you are a foreign national applying for a visa to come to Canada, you can get access to the case notes of your immigration files, processed at Canadian visa offices around the world, through the GCMS (Global Case Management System). The GCMS system is currently the only universal cases management system, used by all Canadian immigration officers, and contains everything about your immigration or citizenship application cases, from updates (for eligibility, criminal or medical exam checks, current status, officer notes, steps that have been completed or to be completed, notes about reasons for refusals or approvals, etc.) The Canadian law governing Access to Information Act does NOT allow access to immigration files to those who live OUTSIDE Canada. You need to appoint someone who are physically living in Canada to request the GCMS notes on your behalf. GCMS4U.COM, ran by Canadian citizen living in Canada, can access the file on your behalf and send it to you legally and securely for the low administrative fees. If you currently live in Canada, you can also retain GCMS4U.COM to assist you with the GCMS ordering process for your immigration or Canadian citizenship applications. 

Do you need GCMS?

You will only benefit from ordering GCMS notes if you have a pending immigration file with Immigration Canada. If you have not applied, you do not have any records in GCMS. GCMS records include personal immigration notes for all types of visa applications, including visitor visas, work permits, study permits, family sponsorship, and all immigration programs, as well as Canadian citizenship applications. Examples of cases when you should order GCMS notes:

  • If you have waited for a decision on your file for a long time, or have been asked to attend an interview, the GCMS notes are extremely useful to find out why the interview was requested, so that you can be well prepared for the immigration officer's questions.
  • If you have been rejected a visa to come to Canada, would like to understand why, or would like to better prepare for your next applications.
  • If you have submitted additional documents, but have got no responses from Immigration Canada to acknowledge the receipts of your documents.

What information do I need to request GCMS Notes?

To order GCMS through this website, you would need to have the following information:

  • You are either the applicant, the sponsor, or the person being sponsored, and currently have a file pending for decisions, or already closed, with Immigration Canada (IRCC). 
  • Your full name, date of birth that match with the information provided on the application.
  • You must have a File Number and/or UCI Number, as found on initial correspondence from Immigration Canada sent to you or your immigration consultant. 
  • You should know the visa office where your application is being processed, but if you do not know, this information is optional.

You will need to provide some basic information using the forms on the Instruction Page to appoint the agent from GCMS4U to apply for GCMS notes from Canada, to access your immigration file on your behalf, and send it to you once received. The processing time for each request is 30 calendar days (with 1-2 weeks difference depending on volume of requests).

Policies

  • GCMS4U is a privately-run website, assisting immigration applicants, especially those who reside outside Canada, solely with GCMS notes requests. We are not affiliated with Immigration Canada (IRCC), or any immigration consultant services. We are not responsible for the progress or decisions on your immigration files, nor any information available on your GCMS notes. We do not provide immigration consultation services.

  • The processing time is typically 30 calendar days (with 1-2 weeks difference depending on volume of requests received by Immigration Canada). Immigration Canada process all GCMS requests, and we have no control over their processing time. 

  • The only acceptable method of payment is PayPal. Once the payment is received and the process has been initiated, all fees are typically non-refundable. However, GCMS4U allows you to get partial refund (50% of fees refunded to you), if you decide to cancel your request after you place the order, and before you receive the GCMS notes. We will retain 50% of your fees for other involved administrative costs.  

  • If the personal identity information provided by you does not match with your immigration records, and Immigration Canada is not able to locate your file, you will have an option to amend the information, or receive 50% of fees refunded. 

  • If for any reasons, we cannot commit to any one of these policies, a full refund will be initiated immediately; furthermore, your payment is fully protected by Pay Pal policies against frauds.
